It's not an option I'd consider but I can see why Sky are doing it.
If you do go down that route you won't be able to use a pvr unless it's theirs (at £10 a month) and you'll still have the pain of scrolling through the epg all the meaningless channels you haven't got.

Yeah, im more inclined to go for Sky's version because of they have a good few SD free-to-air channels that im after, which Freesat doesnt offer.
PVR - im not really to concerned about the PVR feature, as i intend to keep my VM box/package
EPG - wouldnt i just be able to save the channels i watch in a favourite list
