From what you've said I'm guessing that somehow you have adjusted the SCART input in such a way that the signal is not getting to the TV in the right format.
Blue screens suggest that no signal is being received.
Might be worth checking out the SCART socket settings on your TV one by one to see where the signal is going. Or if indeed it is being received at all.
If you have a couple of unused TV channels it might be worth tuning them in individually for Sky or DVD or VCR.
Hope it doesn't spoil your Christmas.

I can't find any sort of adjustment or any way of changing the settings for the scarts - perhaps someone out there could enlighten me if there is a way. I've tuned the TV into the AV settings on aerial so I can get Sky but the pics not so good.
