Re: nod32 Vs Kaspersky
I've found Kaspersky to be too resource hungry so I ditched it after a couple of months. I've now been using nod32 for some time and happy with it's transparent effect on my performance.
I do the usual 'housekeeping' at least once a week as well though; running hijack this, spybot S&D, Adaware etc. in safe mode just to make sure as much as possible that nothings got through.
From experience, no single AV/Antispyware util is totally invulnerable, so having a few won't hurt, even if they are'nt all TSR, and keeping them up to date these days is crucial to their effectiveness.
