Re: What to do if your Sky+ box can't access the programme planner today.

As a follow up to the above story, Sky are apparently still looking at the problem, have concluded it mainly affects those who have replaced the drives (as with bulkylad above) themselves, and are considering rolling back the software to the previous version. Possibly tonight.
