this does fix the problem until you put the box into standby , sky have just shafted all the people who 'upgraded' their sky + boxes , i have had to leave mine on for the past week otherwise i can't record anything . I wouldn't mind but i only put a new drive in mine becasue the crappy quality drive they put in my box died after 16 months and they wanted to charge me £65 for the new hard drive

, i put one in myself for £25 and it has worked brilliantly for nearly 2 years until they 'updated' the box software , knew exactly what they were doing if you ask me. V+ here we come
