Mainly because I wanted a static ip service which Sky don't offer and I could take the lowest tier service with o2 for £7.50 to get unlimited downloads whereas with Sky I had to take the top tier service for unlimited downloads for £10.00 which was a bit of a waste as my line could nowhere near handle the top tier speed potential. I am not a heavy downloader but don't want to be restricted.
