Well Folks the news is in On the PAY TV Seems Sky could be losing this battle with OFCOM reading this.
It seems OFCOM has some concerns on How PAY TV opperates are not happy on the monopoly and that content can be overcharged resulting consumers losing out. That it provents inovation plan is to propose
requiring Sky to wholesale designated premium channels on regulated terms. In this document we are consulting on the use of our sectoral competition powers under section 316 of the Communications Act to put such an obligation in place.
Even a suggestion they me need to go to the Competition Commission under the Enterprise Act.
Is this a serious threat to SKY to get there act in order to play fair or we will take the control away from you.
