Hi, Basically Ive recently moved into a student house. In my bed room (upstairs) there is a cable wire box... (whats usually outside the house). We also have one outside the house that feeds through to my housemates room (downstairs) that's for the virgin TV and broadband. My housemate is moving out for a few months so I want to put the virgin TV in my room. Ive already tried plugging the virgin box in the the cable wire box in my room... but there seems to be no connection between the two... so I'm guessing it's been disconnected... is there anyway i can get this working without having a wire that goes from my housemates room in to mine...?
