So in theory I could now cancel the TV part of my VIP package? Must admit I'm tempted by SkyHD again cos they seem to be adding new HD channels regularly!! Unlike Virgin who don't seem to think that's what it's customers want!!
In theory you could, but I don't really see the point. I'm not on Virgin, so I'm unsure of the actual VIP deal, but I would guess it includes TV, phone and internet? If so, there's no way you'd get a better deal than that - the full Sky subscription is now 47 quid a month, and only ever goes up by, on average, Ã‚Â£1.50 a year, and you have to pay extar for the HD subscription as well. Add your phone and internet, and you'll be paying more than your current deal.
Anyway, you're within your rights to cancel with 30 days notice, but I'm not sure how you'd stand penalty-wise, as Ã‚Â£1 isn't really going to break anyones bank
