I've been down this road

I found that the TriStar Ã‚Â£27 Video sender acts as an excellent 'redeye' - it's got 3 infra red senders so you can control eg DVD VCR etc as well as the Virgin STB or V+

can also be used to send a very good video channel eg what's on the TV or the RF output of the V+ box

a real winner in my view - if it doesn't work for you you can always get your money back

ps what they say on the argos page isn't true - mine worked for both STB and the V+ box as a IR sender - I even bought a second remote control which I leave in location 2 !
