Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2

Went and got my dog from the vets today (he was involved in a dog vs car incident Tuesday night, and lost - the person's car was unmarked, but Benji for one small, brief moment, became Krypto the flying dog).

After lots of X-rays and worries about internal injuries (not good), he has ended up with a broken back leg, multiple contusions, and a vets bill for £550 (here's hoping the insurance pays out).

Important thing is that he's home, mostly in one piece, and feeling very sorry for himself, but on the road to recovery.

Now, if I could only find the young scallywags who came into our garden to get their ball back, and forgot to close the gate afterwards, I would show them Benji, and the pain they caused him (and us, as at one point, we thought we might lose him), and perhaps they might think to be more careful in the future.
