So, you have never:
* Downloaded an MP3 rip of any commerical music
* Downloaded a movie
* Copied music from CD to a tape/MP3 player
No one is whiter than white. Long term theft of wireless, or theft for illegal purposes, yes I can criticise that, but borrowing wireless just to check mail when your own connection is down is practically harmless.
