If anyone rang up and spoke to me and said they had someone setup their system for them, I would not have a problem with that, as it is better to have someone with a bit of knowledge help you setup your broadband rather than spend hours looking glumly at your installation wondering what to do next.
It can be quite helpful if the installer is their and they then pass the phone to them for me to speak to.
