The stagecaoch ethos is if a manager fails to dismiss a 'core' driver (one on top pay rates and conditions) then they themselves are gone.
This put pressure on everyone below them.
If you go into most Stagecoach garages the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired because of the low moral.
