Doesn't everybody have 20Mb+ broadband? Doesn't everybody have some form of internet access? Many TV adverts assume the latter "... for details visit

I guess the idea is that if you have cable TV now, you already have the delivery mechanism for IPTV, the same way that VoD works currently. You don't have to be a
broadband internet customer to get it. Virgin Media may even be intending to put fibre optic into customers' premises. At that point, the broadband internet may be bundled with the TV anyway.
All pure speculation but plausible.
