One thing we need to get clear, Virgin have talked about selling their Content business. This is the old Flextech channels (Living, UK Gold etc). It is *not* the part of the company who runs the cable network (or any customer facing business).

Sadly, the only way that is likely to stop is if the Government introduces rules banning companies from owning both channels and the platforms they are delivered on, or they introduces rules requiring that companies provide the same service on platforms owned by other companies.
