I really don't like cooking food on them, Anything with a marinade ands up with the marinade burnt and it really drys food.
Then there is the cleaning of it.
Ours is sat in the cupboard gathering dust.

However I do work as a chef so perhaps it might be good for people that don't want to spend so much time cooking.

If you are concerned about fat then simply grill things.

For chicken your much better off pan frying in a little olive oil so long as you don't serve it with the fat that renders out. You'll get a much nicer flavour this way especially if its nicely seasoned.
