On cable VM pay a carriage fee to the channel itself so they can carry it and of course it becomes a premium channel so they can recoup the money spent on carriage fees from customers.

i know how it works, it just makes you feel like cable is a rip off. also at 28 East depending on which satellite the broadcaster uses depends on who they pay as both Astra & Eutelsat have satellites there.
