If they respected you, they'd ask if you'd like to hear about it first wouldn't they?
Perhaps that's the issue, you don't know what respect is and how to show it?
On a public forum, people answer the question by participating, similarly with TV programs, don't like it, don't watch it (ask a different mod to monitor it even).
