Re: PC Guard

There are a lot of apps that work fine, when you first install them. PC Guard at first was one....then the upgrade disasters. It's never been the same again.
At the end of teh day it's what people feel comfy with....even though it's not the best product to use.
PC Guard Hogged 98% of my CPU usage and this was after a fresh install of xp pro, and a complete nightmare to get rid off.

The first versions of PCG worked well and simple uninstall, later versions a right moo.

The same with AVAST TBH... before the last upgrade a few weeks ago, it was sublime...then poooof. Done the misstake of upgrading, then a full system slow down...ended up having to dissable auto protect to get the system running.
Reinstalled a fresh upgraded download then it's sublime again.
