To make sure your V+ archiving process is working disconnect the scart connection from your DVD recorder and link the V+ (bottom socket) scart directly into your TV.

Go through the 'record to DVD' sequence and see what you get on your TV. If you get the picture and sound then you have established that the V+ is doing it's job and we need to sort out what is happening with your recorder.


With a little luck someone may have the same recorder, or more ideas, and can figure out what is happening.
