Well aren't you lucky to have not had any problems with PC Guard.
Here's
my evidence that PC Guard was no good on my machine... it grabbed 100% CPU and wouldn't let go.If I tried stopping it in task manager my PC would crash and reboot. When I tried to uninstall it using the accompanying uninstaller that too grabbed 100% CPU and sat there doing NOTHING. I even left my PC over night, after 10 hours it was still stuck at about 80% uninstall.
I finally got rid using various underhand tactics which most certainly would be frowned upon by a large proportion of this forum's members.
BTW I have no vested interest in any piece of software, free or otherwise (I doubt most members of this forum have either). I just don't like it when I can't use my PC because some bit of code thinks it has more right to it than me.
