Re: Turning off the welcome screen

Firstly you must have only 1 user account on the computer and the guest account turned off.

Secondly you must remove the password on the account.

Reboot, et viola, it should login automatically.



Failing that the second way is as follows:

Go to start > run > "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes)

and use that box to tell the system to automatically login, even if you have multiple users or a password.
