OK - sorry to bump the thread. As I've got a bit of time this week, I thought I'd revist this in attempt to get it working.

I've now unscrewed the coax faceplates and checked the PCBs . There's nothing on them - just centre pin and wire braid connected as it should be. I've checked both ends as well.

I'm now stumpted and don't know what to try next.

Any ideas?

I know the magic eye works - if it plug it onto the RF out on the Sky box it lights up.
