Keep this in mind - back in january I applied for what I thought was an awesome job and knew I could do it, and do it
well. I applied and breezed through the interview. OK I shouldn't have made assumption but I had a call a few days later saying I'd be unsuccessful, we'll keep you on file yadda yadda and I was really disappointed.
I then got a call off them not long ago saying the person who took the job had left due to domestic reasons and they offered it to me
And did I take it? Oh yes
Sometimes coming second isn't always a bad thing.
