Good point of course but equally it shouldn't be forgotten that hundreds of thousands of our soldiers also died overseas to help restore the freedom of people in countries which had been occupied and defeat the Nazis. Wherever they were from, based or died all those who fought against the Nazis were fighting in the common interest and for world freedom.
