Re: Happy St George's day...
In my opinion todays the day we remember and celebrate past English heros, among them the 17th Lancers, which was one of the regiments that took part in the famous Charge of the Light Brigade, this holds a certain significance for me because my great, great, great, great uncle took part in and survived the charge.
Cannon to the right of them,

Cannon in front of them, vollyed and thundered,
stormed at with shot and shell, bravely they rode, and well,
