Exactly, while he got off another trainee pilot flew the whirlybird back to the mainland and got some more hours flying experience.
This is such a non story.
Should I be complaining that the NASA shuttle pilots get to use a fleet of their own personal fast jets for training and keeping their hours and landing practice up. These guys often live in Houston, TX and work at the Cape, FL and fly between the two regularly.
