Re: A Laptop...

I'm another to recommend acer. Got 4 Acers in the house now. My Dads old laptop died after 2 years but it was second hand. My old laptop is getting tatty now its nearly 5 years old, but still working. My new laptop is an Extensa 5620 which I got a month ago. Plays everything I've tried on it so far (BF1942, C&C Generals, gMod) on medium graphics. Its a core2duo so good battery life. My Dads new laptop (forget the model) is also good for the same but his is an AMD X2.

I find Dells aren't that well built. They feel plasticy and flimsy, compared to the nice build quality on Acers. I also like Acers non-glare screens, they are always a bonus.
