See this is the thing. I kind of want something fairly future proof and assumed I am going to have to pay through the teeth for it. If I could spend less than this and get something fairly decent that is going to last me a good few years then that would be even better.

Ideally it needs to be fairly portable. I'm not intending to lug it about all over the place regularly and this has to be weighed up against my massive hands which have issues with other people's lappys lol. I would like as decent a battery life as possible. Decent graphics would be nice, but not essential as I'm not a massive game player. Bluetooth would be useful and wireless is now pretty much standard, but I was thinking about the 'n' standard and whether or not it would be getting something that would support it (in theroy, as I know the standard hasn't been fully finalised).

Just thought running it by you guys was a good idea, as I have bought stuff for my desktop in the past and then seen how I could often get more for my money after it is spent lol!
