Labour party has let this country slip into the depths of despair. Let's have a look at the evidence:-

They might make some wild claim that crime is down but - A wild claim it is but not necessarily a valid one. But one thing is for sure, violent crime is on the up.

We have teenagers being killed by knives and stabbing weapons in our schools and on the streets.

Gun crime is more common than it was ten years ago.

Higher Taxes. Including the ridiculous hikes in Council Taxes.

Stupid Green Tax bands that target not just the Gas guzzling cars but the ordinary motorist driving his Ford Focus. The Tax which Taxes the poor but allows the rich to continue to pollute our lands.

Offenders are getting younger.

Prison Population at its max.

This is not just a Labour trait but it would seem some MPs and the speaker of the house are exploiting their 'expenses' entitlement and paying for normal everyday costs not from their Salary, like normal Joe public, but from the coffers of the Tax payers and it would seem Labour are intent on allowing this nonsense to continue without questions being asked.

The removal of the 10p Tax Band. Affecting low paid earners. But makes high paid earners (The rich) better off.

The Northern Rock fiasco and Labour bailing them out at the Tax payers expense.

And many many other scandals and other rubbish policies that Labour as ever invented.

So sorry Nidge (and any other Labour lover), well actually I am not sorry, but Labour has been an absolutely crap government over these last 10 or so years and this will be reflected when they lose their power at the next General Election.

Good point. Poll is now Private. Voting is usually a private affair. Also I have added the 'Abstain' option. As some people don't vote.
Mick the prison situation is one that successive governments have passed on to the next.Building prisons is expensive and neither the Tories or Labour have picked up the baton on that one.You cannot say it is only Labour who are responsible though they have been part of the process.I'll be very interested to see how the Tories will tackle that issue.

I would like the ballot paper to have a box that says I'm not voting for any of you because you haven't given a good enough reason for me to vote for you so go back and try to come up with a better reason or two.Oh and try telling the truth for a change.

Why should I vote for people who have lied repeatedly, who lie and promise so much at election time but never deliver after an election and line their own pockets with public money whilst voting for things that I never wanted them to vote for. After all I wasn't bothered about smoking in public places or hunting but there are the laws on the statute book. What damned relevance had hunting to my way of life when there are far more important issues to be sorted out like the countrywide lack of social housing and the post code lottery for NHS treatment?
