Yes, it will automatically recieve a signal. This is only if you have a wireless enabled laptop, which you probably have. Then you just need to make sure that the wireless is turned on on the laptop, it should be at the bottom left on the front of the laptop, if not then it's next to the screen I think?

Once you've done that you just need to search for a signal and if it asks you for a password, then enter the one you set for the router then you should have a wireless signal for internet.
