Apparently Australia will be sold a sim-free 3G iphone when it comes out in June.

If you jailbreak it, £169 isn't bad for a wifi phone with 8gb storage, even if it is without 3G. Still come june, I think there will be a ton of iphones going even cheaper

Can't see any price cuts in the US though. So from tomorrow its £50 cheaper here than in the US. Makes a change.
