The speedtouch is fine as a modem but as a router it's somewhat lacking hence why i have the linksys hanging off the back of it...

In which case every router will deal with ADSL/Cable, as long as you have an Ethernet out modem. I'm very aware of this already, the poster seemed to be treating them differently.
