I was disappointed too with the golf picture quality. With more static and slower changing things in focus I was expecting things to be razor sharp. Sadly there weren't although there was a sharp decline in the vast number of artifacts on screen on BBC1 on the golf. The whites of the bunkers etc looked a lot better too. Then again I watched I'd do anything for a few mins on BBC1/BBC HD out of interest and the picture quality on both was shockingly poor. With the FA Cup picture quality on BBC HD the other week I'm wondering whether they've been downgrading it quite a lot .
