i think the v+ is still sending a signal which is why the switches are not working correctly.

I've just gone and switched it to component becuase it was doing my head in!
heeh

the signal is fine with component to be honest (helps that i have some good QED component cables )

so now i dont need the switch box and i can send it back

does anyone else have issues with switch boxes though?
