Uninstalled AVG and Spyware Doctor and loaded PC Guard. Now the computer flies as it never has before!

Another advantage is that, unlike the old ntl version, the firewall allows you to share files on computers in your home network straight way without having to mess about with settings. (Turn off Windows Firewall if you use PC Guard firewall, of course)

Previous experience with McAffee and Norton is avoid at all costs. They slow things down and cause problems with some things working.

Thus I recommend PC Guard anti-virus, spyware and firewall . . . and it's free. I wonder if some of the people weho claim it is "rubbish" have actually tried it recently.
havent noticed ANY problem with McAfee but it is the very latest version. AVG kept failing to upgrade simply said it could n`t see various things. Messages left right & centre to do this that or the other, life is to short to worry about them.
