Today I received my PIN code so that I'm able to add my free modem self install to my set top box. Currently I am running my XL Internet from the STB hence the reason of upgrading to a modem. I have noticed there is a 6db Attenuator between VM wall Box and the STB, my question is, Do I put the splitter before the attenuator or after the attenuator.
