It has a shadow but as it's supposed to be an overcast day you can't see it that well because it is a soft shadow.The next time you are outside on an overcast day check your shadow..you'll not see it as much as if the sun was fully out.
I'll show you the non textured version so you can be certain.
I need to add that the IBL lighting is very difficult to synchronise in Bryce.It's dealt with much better in Carrara Pro 6 and Poser 7.However I wanted to have a go at just modelling and texturing in Bryce and just for once getting the overcast lighting.
