Like what? lol
I cant name any HD channels that arent owned by Sky, and at the moment, they dont want to share, so it isnt gonna happen.
Basically, once they decide they DO want to share, then there is the technical aspect of it. Can VM carry them, bandwidth etc etc.
Once again, the HD bandwagon is sounding its drum, but the fact is, there is a Salad of HD Channels and Content in this Country, compared to, the Tasty 12 Piece Chicken Bucket with added Fries, Coke and Ice Cream that Time Warner has in the USA.
Everyone went out and bought their HD equipment, all excited about the possibilities, but I dont see anything in the way of content for EVERY viewer of TV.
Theres only stuff, mainly for people who like Sport and Movies.
Im sure glad I didnt pay over the top for something like that, especially given they are, like -60% off the price they were, now!
BBC HD (Which we have)
Channel 4 HD (We will get that, I am sure)
Sky One HD
Sky Sports HD
Sky Movies HD
Sky Arts HD
National Geographic HD
History Channel HD (Whats the point? lol. Most of its Black and White!)
Discovery HD (Well, thats a decent one.)
Whereas Time Warner has:

Im not listing them all.
Its still a baby, in this country. We wont see something near to that number for a good few years yet, and if Sky keep nabbing everything, itll go straight to them.

edit: on the technical side of things, a bit more detail is here:
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/digitalt...-new-york.html
Basically, this COULD be implemented in this country, but its up to the Cable Co. and whether there will be any more HD Channels in the future.
100 HD Channels in New york, though... phew!
