I agree with what you are saying, but I am just making the point that the smiling friendly opposition may not be much better once they get power.
As to suggesting we get the UN in there, aren't we poking our noses into enough countries already?
Zimbabwe may yet turn out to be a third theatre for our troops once Mugabe has gone.
