Re: BBC tells ISPs to get stuffed

I understand that its not exclusively P2P - but surely with all the hoo-ha about P2P that has generally gone on in the past with illegal downloading etc, it can't have put the BBC in good stead to launch iplayer to the public like this.

The BBC must've known that alot of P2P traffic within ISP networks are throttled/shaped in some way. So it seems like it was the BBCs way of trying to put pressure on ISPs in the first place (just my slant on it probably).
