I dont know if you are aiming that at my post suggesting I have made it up, but some of the older members around here may recall my posts about the unfortunate situation I got into with my involvement with a Zimbabwe woman whos husband was a government minister for Zanu pf.
Long after the relationship was over I discovered she had joined the MDC and was in fact a representative for the MDC in this country. That was of course ater she came clean and claimed asylum, by admitting that the South African passport she came here on was bogus.
I have had my fair share of involvement with dodgy Zimbaweans and Nigerians, and I have learned that people from these countries should not be judged by your own expected standards. I had a close shave with my bank account after this person went to work for my bank callcentre in newport and had been looking into my bank accounts.
The list that I found out about this woman and her friends after the events is endless. I have certainly leaned my lesson to stick with my first impression of people and not be swayed by a smile.
ps. Her husband is on the list of people who was awarded land by Mugabe.
