Can you use a wireless and a modem - maybe not at the same time - but interchange them ??

Sounds like a weird question - but I am wired with a modem for my computer - but my son has a wireless laptop - so he needs a wireless signal and I need a wired one!!!!

(I could ask him - but he just does a BIG sigh .... but if you do I won't hear them

)
