That's funny because i've never called anybody the N word in any context, and i've never witnessed any other black person do so either. In fact, the only times i've witnessed the word used is by white people and as a way of causing the most possible offensive.
You clearly feel very strong about this issue, your knowledge of sociology is obviously amazing and you seem desperate to use such a fun and exciting word as the "N word". So please, why don't you quit bitching and moaning about spotty and ginger people being insulted and go and call the next black person you dislike the "N word". I hope it works out well for you.
To get back on topic; Xbox Live, just like the internet, is a haven for neanderthals who act like they're anonymous. As the common demographic for Xbox Live is young white males, some seem to see it as an outlet for aggression against those who don't fit. It's not just racism, though that seems to be the most popular, it's many types of xenophobia.
