From personal experience, I have noticed a massively better picture on a smaller screen than the bigger ones.

I think the bigger the screen, the more pixels should be covered (720/1080 beyond) and that is where the next generation of HD Formats will come in, and give us a miles better picture on current sizes (42-60+)
