All routers will support Linux, it's whether the adaptor installed in your computer has a linux compatible driver you need to consider. The router is usually controlled by your internet browser be that firefox, opera or whatever.

The Linkysys WRT54G series routers are often popular, the WRT54GL being specifically designed with a linux firmware that you can flash with whatever firmware you want. However as it says 54 means "g" speeds and you may desire something higher specified for future compatibility.
