I'm exactly the same! I rent movies from Amazon, and if I like them, I buy my own copy.
The other issue with downloads, of course, is that you can lose them far easier, through no fault of your own. Although it's rare, a simple HDD error can render one or more movies unwatchable - but a well looked after disc should last forever.
