Pointless emails... I hate 'em
We get them quite often at work. Usually they go something along the line of someone leaving their food/drink/cutlery in the deparment kitchen, and someone else helping themselves to it.
I'll give you an example. Someone had their special spoon nicked . Yesterday, we had a couple of emails announcing the theft, now we've had an email saying that someone had left a spoon in the soup bowl owned by the emailer above, but it was the wrong spoon.
Now, this begs the question: If the spoon was that valuable, why did the person not leave it in their desk drawer? All the staff have lockable desk drawers (actually pedestals).
And I won't even mention the amount of emails we get sent if someone suggests a change of procedure...
