Not sure about the OEM version but I know with the retail version it was possible to Buy V6 and then use the license key for V7 (free upgrade)
Which Is what I did, just bought V6 just before V7 came out (it was on offer) and then just downloaded the Trail version of V7 and when prompted used my key to activate it.
